An introduction to the secrets of numbers and Arabic letters as taught by the Masters of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi Order.  The course material is based on the Sufi articles that are featured on Nurmuhammad.com

Course Objectives:

• Learning how to read the Abjad table Understand the spiritual meaning of the Arabic letters

(Qaf, Dal, Ra, etc) Understanding the relationship between the Arabic letters and Barhul Qudra [ Oceans of Power]

Introduction to the Naqshbandi Fajr Awrad

and to Quranic Recitation

Course Description:

This course introduces the students to the beautiful Fajr Awrad of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi School.  Students will learn how to perform the Awrad correctly and how to lead zikr, and how to read and use the most important book of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi School: the Naqshbandi Guidebook.

The second part of the course gives students the opportunity to improve their Quranic recitation skills by listening to an Arab teacher and learning the most important Surahs of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi School.

Course Objectives:

• Learning how to perform the Naqshbandi Fajr Awrad

• Learning how to lead the Naqshbandi Zikr (Khatm’ul Khawjagan)

• Learning how to read and use the Naqshbandi Guidebook

• Improving Quranic recitation skills

Sufi Secrets of Modern Science in the Last Days

Course Description:

This course delves into the secrets of modern science and explores the reality of quantum physics and its relationship to the arrival of Imam Mahdi {as}.  Topics covered include: Nanotechnology and the reality of Jinns, binary numbers, Quantum sciences and the Deceptive Magic of the Anti-Christ.

• Understanding the miracle of Quantum reality

Cosmic Energy and Whirling

Course Description:

An introduction to the techniques of Sufi Whirling and to the secret of cosmic energy as it relates to the spirituality of the Naqshbandi Sufi School.  Students will learn the importance of whirling from a cosmic and spiritual viewpoint.  The course provides an exposure to the art of Sufi martial arts as well.

Course Objectives:

• Understanding the connection between whirling and energy

• Understand the secret of the Full Moon, the Earth and the orbiting of the Sun

• Learning whirling techniques: speed, hand coordination and heart focus

Introduction to Spiritual Poetry

Instructor: Sister Iman Hoffman

Course Description:

This class introduces spiritual poetry from a Sufi perspective.  Students will have the opportunity to  read Sufi poems from some of the most famous Sufi poets.  Students will understand the meaning of Sufi symbolism: love, attraction, wine and intoxication, seasons. calligraphy in poetry.  The instructor will provide the class with a series of interpretations of popular Sufi poems based on the Naqshbandi-Haqqani teachings.

Course Objectives:

• Understanding the notions of spiritual union, intoxication, and separation

• Understanding Sufi Calligraphy and its relation to Sufi poetry

Mystical Initiation to Salawat and Mystical Chants:

Al Burda and Al Dalail Khayrat

Course Description:

An introduction to the Sufi techniques of mystical chanting and to the importance and secrets of Salawat [ Prophetic Praising] according to the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi School.  Students will have the opportunity to learn and sing excepts from the classical poems Al Burda and Dalail Khairat.  The course provides a strong exposure to the ancient concept of hadrah.  At the end of the course, students will be provided with audio recordings of their musical sessions.

Course Objectives:

• Learning the importance of the Dalail Khairat and the Burdah

• Improving recitation of Salawat and qasidas

• Discovering the concept of hadrah

Physical Therapy and Sufi Healing Practices

Instructors:

Course Description:

This course focuses on healing practices and effect of breathing and meditation according to the Naqshbandi-Haqqani School of thoughts.  The course will also explore the ancient technique of Thai massage as it relates to Sufism. The class is divided into two parts: theory and practice.  Course topics include: breathing exercises with “Allah” and “Hu”, stretching and hand massages.  Please note that you will receive a special Certificate for this course.

Course Objectives:

• Learning how to breath consciously

• Hands On Training:

• Understanding the importance and the notion of breaths

• Learning how to use body massage as a healing technique

You will need a notebook to take note as well as a recording device, such as a tape player, or Video to record sessions from all classes especially the mystical chanting and Quranic Recitation classes. Kuffs are strongly recommended for the Whirling Class.
